In collaboration with Droichead Arts Centre, Louth County Council Arts office and in partnership with curators Dee Walsh and Brian Hegarty “DRAWDA” is a curated, multidisciplinary public arts programme that embraces our Mythological Past by featuring stories and figures from the unique mythological history of the Drogheda area. Six murals were created by six artists, local, national, and international. The first piece by local, Ciaran Dunleavy depicts the story of the Fionn Mac Cumhaill and the Salmon of Knowledge.
Funded by the Arts Council under ‘In the Open Faoin Spéir Initiative’, Louth CountyCouncil, Love Drogheda BIDS (Business Improvement District Scheme) and Town& Village Accelerated Measures funding.
