The Love Drogheda Business Improvement District (BID) is proud to announce the overwhelming success of its plebiscite, with an impressive 91.7% of local ratepayers voting in favour of renewing the BID for another term. The strong vote of confidence is a clear endorsement of the Love Drogheda BID’s work and vision for the future of the town.
The plebiscite result marks a significant milestone in the ongoing efforts to enhance Drogheda's business environment, promote economic growth, and ensure the town continues to thrive as a key destination for both businesses and visitors.
Sarah Taaffe, Chairperson of Love Drogheda BID, expressed her gratitude for the positive outcome:

It’s clear that there is strong belief in what we’re doing, and this result reflects the shared commitment of the businesses and community to making Drogheda a better place for all. Together, we can continue to drive progress and build on the success we’ve already achieved.”
The successful vote sets the stage for the BID’s continued work over the next five years, with a renewed focus on delivering projects and services outlined in the proposal document. These include initiatives to improve the town’s appearance, enhance safety and security, support businesses, and promote Drogheda as a vibrant destination.
