Louth County Council is currently inviting applications for funding for Festivals/Events to take place in 2025.
There are two streams of funding open for applications:
Applications for funding, up to a maximum grant of €8,000,are now being sought by Louth County Council under the Festival Grant Initiative 2025. This initiative is open to local and community festivals and/or events which will benefit the local economy and tourism in the County.
PLEASE NOTE: This will be the only funding scheme available for tourism events occurring in 2025. ONLY applications received on the appropriate Application Form by the Closing Date will be considered in 2025. Your application will be assessed along with all other applications and, if successful, an offer of funding will be made.
Applications for funding are now being sought by Louth County Council, in partnership with Fáilte Ireland, under the Regional Festivals & Participative Events Programme 2025. This is open to festivals/events which aim to draw tourists from outside the locality and will showcase Louth’s culture, heritage and landscape.

Completed Application Forms must be returned to: Festival Grant Funding, Susan L Murphy, Economic Development Section, Louth County Council, Town Hall, Crowe Street, Dundalk, Co. Louth, A91 W20C by 5pmon Friday, 10th January 2025 or submitted by email to tourism@louthcoco.ie.
