The Coca-Cola company and its bottling partner Coca Cola HBC Ireland and Northern Ireland have launched their "Thank You Fund" with none other than recent Oscar Academy Award winner Barry Keoghan as the ambassador for the fund. This year will see the Fund, which will be operated by The Irish Youth Foundation, will be doubled in size and impact making €200,000 of grants available for projects that empower young people through learning, inclusion, and sustainable development.
This money will be granted to not-for-profit voluntary and charitable organisations operating within communities throughout Ireland and Northern Ireland.
The Coca Cola Thank You Fund was launched in 2011 to mark The Coca Cola Company’s 125th anniversary and has run every year since. To date €1,365,000 has been given to 136 non-profit organisations across the island of Ireland.
The Fund’s application form facilitates entrants in selecting which funding amount is most suitable for their project. The theme for 2023 is "Empowering Young People Through Learning, Inclusion and Sustainable Development." For the purposes of the Fund, young people are defined as those aged between 16 and 25 years of age. Awards of up to €5,000 and €10,000 will be available to support community-based projects that are focused on empowering young people through programmes of learning, inclusion, and sustainable development.
The Application form for groups to apply for the fund as well as Terms and Conditions can be viewed at Coca-Cola 2023 Thank you Fund.
The deadline for applications is 6pm on Thursday 15th June 2023.
