Louth County Council’s annual Amenity Grant scheme for 2023 is now open.
The Closing date is Monday 6th March at close of business- 5pm.
Please submit your application through the on line portal, please see below, we are encouraging all groups to use this as the preferred method of submission.
The usual traditional methods of submission will be available to groups wishing to avail of the Scheme for this year, however, going forward we hope all applicants will submit through the online portal.
Louth County Council's annual Amenity Grant Scheme is designed to provide financial assistance to voluntary community groups engaged in the planning of projects which encourages community participation and development in County Louth. It also recognises the level of voluntary works being carried out by residents/community/Tidy Tows/environmental associations/groups on an annual basis to better their environment.
For residents associations the grants represent a contribution towards open spaces annual maintenance costs.
These activities mean that Louth continues to be a better place in which to live, work and visit. It also ensures that Louth continues to feature prominently in various national competitions.
Works carried out by groups can include from time to time, both construction work and non construction work. This Amenity Grant Scheme does not apply to any type of construction projects and applies only to routine works or activities.
Therefore any type of Construction project is not eligible under this scheme.
