Geoff Fitzpatrick | Fitz Scientific | Boyne Business Park

Fitz Scientific started life, in 1998, as a small laboratory behind Gleeson's pub on Narrow West Street. 20 years on it has grown to become one of Ireland and the UK's leading analytical testing and monitoring company, employing 45 people with labs in Drogheda and Dublin.

Geoff Fitzpatrick says, "We want to see more investment and focus on the development of Drogheda's small and medium sized enterprises. Drogheda's Entrepreneurs need a ball and a yard of grass. They need space, investment and support. I have serious concerns regarding the structure and management of Louth’s enterprise development and with a BID I believe we can change this."

"For Drogheda's economy to develop we need to invest in resources to get some of the 6,000 workers that leave Drogheda each day to work in Dublin, to set up and work in our city."

"Drogheda is a beautiful place to live, work and relax in – it’s time has come to prosper. We fully support Drogheda's BID proposal."
